“Calling out” Workplace Harrassment.

 It’s not like I don’t understand the, what’s called ‘human pain’ of living this life. ..Since for one factor we’re nothing but the wackiest specie that appeared on the face of this planet - such mechanisms would apply to a male being not only with a record of criminal reputation but also hovers over 6’ tall in physical person and thus who likely has equal aptitude to such state of being - to a newly born Gen X infant whose biological destiny would (still) more likely render her to seek cosmetological beauty than the former. ..Like, if I had any better conservative attitude toward the study & branch of Sexology in general (i.e. my grandma’s generation), I would’ve omitted the gender part altogether.

All I can get reflecting from my academic life is that somehow I’ve gained Ph.D in bullying behavior thanks to my experience that started from my very entry into the Korean local elementary; whereas my real-life grades in paper has been suffering altogether throughout. At age 31, after decades have passed I now tend to look at such experience with a grain of salt - that everything happens for a reason, and that one’d be in better position to practice looking at things from neutral manner; which was only possible for me thanks to the quotes & videos available on YouTube from religious figures alive in this contemporary century.

소토코모리 일상 탐구 - 1화: 명상과 운동과 경제적 능력.

 ...새벽에 30분 타이머를 키고 처음 무언가를 시작 (?) 하는 기분으로 블로그에 들어왔다. 이떄까지의 내 행적이란 행적을 돌아다보면 뭐라 잘 했다고 칭찬할 것도 자랑할 것도 아니라고 느낌. ...... ..... (그 옛날 잘 알려지지 않은 여느 사무라이 가문의 하나였던) 마츠라 가문의 로고는 분명 일본인들에게는 어느 정도 의미가 있는 상징일지 모른다. ...그러니까 내가 불교도 (Buddhist) 라고 일종의 자기성명을 하던 간에 뭐든 간에 한국의 어느 생각없는 이삼십대짜리; 가 멋대로 휘두르고 지내기엔 좀 많이 몰상식할 수도 있다는 소리다. ...단지 검도 (kendo) 의 영향력이 이젠 (택견보다 더하다 할 정도로) 과거 일본이 전범국이었던 시절에서 벗어난 이상 전세계적으로 파급력을 지닌 마당에 동아시아 자체에서 동떨어진 문화권인 유럽에 어디어디 지역에 사는 소년도 '나도 멋진 사무라이처럼 되고 싶어' 라고 생각하는 게 이상한 일이 아니게 된 것. ..... 하지만 마이너리티의 삶은 어떠한가 라는 질문엔, 본인도 현재 골머리 이상을 앎고 있는 중이라고 느낀다. .. 예를 들어, 어렸을 때는 컴퓨터 중독증세 때문에 밖에 나가 친구들과 어울릴 시간을 많이 빼앗겼고, 또 그게 나중에 청소년기 들어서는 학교만 파하면 집에 돌아온 뒤엔 아예 밖으로 나가지 않는 형식의 습관으로 이어졌다면, ..이제 컴퓨터가 제 2의 생존수단이나 다름없는 시대에 성인이 된 지금으로썬 아직까지도 필요 이상으로 스크린을 보는 데 시간을 쓴다 느끼고는 한다. ..예를 들어, 밥을 먹을 때 같이 먹을 사람이 없기 때문에 유튜브나 다른 교육자료들을 보면서 시간을 재는 버릇이 생겼다거나, 운동을 할 때도 마찬가지. ..애초부터 '내 몸에 맞는 정확한 운동지식' 이란 게 없었기 때문에, ..(조금은 많이 이상하지만) 그 점만으로도 일종의 '유튜브 중독증세'를 현재 부채질하고 있다 느낀다. ... .... 남들끼리, 혹은 완전 '까고 말해서...

'Friendless Complex'
